I kind of miss my blog...

It is really funny, I had a draft post from 2023 almost a year ago. I decided to git pull the repo in a desperate attempt to force my self into writing. I have to admit I miss my blog, there was a time when I was super enthusiastic about it.

My blogging days are now gone and most probably nobody reads my blog, I mean who reads blogs nowadays. It feels kind of liberating, knowing that not a lot of people read your stuff, kind of remind me the old days.

I have been thinking of my children and I think I want to resume writing mostly so that one day they will be able to track these posts. Not sure if this move into the semi self hosted thing like Hugo and going full in Markdown actually helped.

I do remember that one of the reasons that I was not moving out of blogspot was it ease of use. I logged in, I wrote my things, I had kind of spell check in the browser and done!

After so many years I am still struggling to decide which Markdown editor I should use, if there is some kind of spell check available and in general form a routine so that when I feel like writing something, to do it without having to check 1000 different things. I am now using sublime and it seems that has some spell check support so I will try to stick to it.
